JUNYA WATANABE MAN’s latest Spring/Summer ‘21 collection celebrates 20 years of their men’s label, acting as an ode to everyday labor as they recruit master craftsman styled in the latest Americana-inspired garments.
Familiar to the JUNYA WATANABE MAN universe is their take on the classic blazer jacket. The Spring/Summer season introduces a light blue, three-button iteration with angled pockets, a pin-stripe version with tan suede details at the collar and sleeve hems, and various takes on the patchwork style with different patterns and designs. The blazers are often paired with straight hemmed button up shirts featuring striped and square patterns as well as colorful patchwork patterns. Graphic tees take inspiration from everyday items including food, text-based designs, and bold shapes while bottoms consist of classic slim-straight denim, painter shorts, cropped workwear pants, and military-inspired cargos.
