Nicholas Daley x Lavenham Autumn/Winter '20 Capsule

For the Autumn/Winter ‘20 season, Nicholas Daley rekindled partnerships with a number of UK heritage brands such as Trickers, Fred Perry and tartan-maker Lochcarron, as well as Lavenham, an expert in quilted goods.

Neither parties are strangers to collaboration, Daley works alongside a number of partners when bringing each season together, including fabric mills, footwear brands and manufacturers. The capsule combines the militaristic nature of Daley’s design vision with Lavenham’s expertise in quilted outerwear - an untapped area for Suffolk-based label but something that is dear to the Nicholas Daley brand. The five-piece capsule consists of two scarves, a padded nylon jacket, quilted vest and a signature ‘Bakerboy’ hat, a garment that Daley has become synonymous with. One piece we’d like to draw your attention to is the military-inspired ‘Quilted Nylon jacket’ that sees Daley revisit a utility silhouette in a tonal army-green colour way with an assortment of frontal pockets. The jacket is made in the UK and is constructed using a combination of cotton, nylon and polyester materials. The theme continues on the other items in the capsule with the scarves incorporating zippers and the ‘Bakerboy’ hat nodding to focal points of inspiration. Daley continues to work with Lavenham into the Spring/Summer ‘21 season on his ‘Stepping Razor’ collection.
