HIP Highlights BEAMS Plus AW20 in its Latest Editorial
HIP showcases wares from BEAMS Plus’ Autumn/Winter ‘20 collection in their most recent editorial curated by the retailer.
With unfinished business on the cards, BEAMS Plus carries through the previous season’s theme, ‘Swingman’, to continue developing styles with the modern male in mind. The pillars of inspiration are familiar to followers of their work: collegiate, workwear, military, outdoors and a slew of other styles, including the infamous ‘Ivy’, are all in the mix and help forge together this seasons offering. To celebrate the release of the collection and to tie into the ethos behind it, HIP shot an editorial in Leeds Library, which dates back to 1768, that hones in on the timeless and sophisticated style of Beams Plus. They have drawn particular focus to the Patchwork Corduroy Smock, Fleece Stripe Cardigan and Multi-Pattern Shaggy Shirt, all of which are honest nods to Beams Plus’ vision. The Patchwork Smock, for example, is inspired by a vintage garment - made from material scraps - found on the outskirts of Boston and is the story behind the printed corduroy piece.
