Kazuyuki Kumagai Spring/Summer '21
In contrast to its more technical counterpart Attachment, Kazuyuki Kumagai’s eponymous label opts for dynamic silhouettes and soft-to-the-touch, comfortable garments in neutral colors just in time for the Spring/Summer ‘21 season.
The latest collection is filled with lightweight, layered styles for everyday wear. Denim jeans are reworked with a new design by placing the buttony fly asymmetrically and twisting the panelling for a tapered look. Beige trousers showcase a free-flowing, dynamic pattern making that naturally fits onto the body with its perfect balance between the supple fabric's drape and voluminous silhouette. A matching vest looks like a blazer on the front but is sleeveless with opened sides for breathability. The both paired with their forward-thinking take on the essential white shirt gives both a formal yet casual look. Outerwear includes a translucent white coat featuring a large collar and wide arms for a comfortable feel. The sleeves are modular with a zipper system for flexible styling. Crafted with a soft fabric, the jacket falls along the line of the body and carves fine drapes, giving it a rough yet elegant appearance.
