SOUTH2 WEST8 Autumn/Winter '20
Founded in 2002 by Kaname Nagaoka, SOUTH2 WEST8 continues to design technical outdoor wear with origins in fly-fishing while considering urban-focused options in their Autumn/Winter ‘20 collection.
Their latest collection is characterized by warmth, utility, and bold patterns inspired by nature. Fly-fishing inspired garments are manifested in multi-pocket vests and jackets while Bird Shooting Caps and camo parkas highlight outdoor-ready garments. Wool vests, shaggy tweed coach jackets, and loose fit sweaters displaying their recurring Nordic knit pattern provide essential layering for the colder conditions. Additional patterns include multiple takes on paisley designs, plaid, and triangular motifs blended with their own deer logo. For bottoms, tartan plaid kilt skirts are paired with slim fitting corduroy pants while workwear fits incorporate heavy duty 16 oz canvas painter pants and coveralls fitted with additional lining. SOUTH2 WEST8 also presents an extensive accessory line featuring knit gloves, boa-lined headbands, and their Crusher Hat.
