ts(s) Autumn/Winter '20
The label founded by Takuji Suzuki and Daiki Suzuki of Engineered Garments continues to restructure what we currently perceive as womenswear and menswear in their Autumn/Winter ‘20 collection.
ts(s) plays to familiar cues with their blend of vintage, traditional styles with military, workwear and sportswear, balancing countless design concepts and seamlessly blending them with one another. With separate mens and women’s looks, there is some crossover between the garments, particularly when it comes to the outerwear for both genders. For women, multi-pocket parka jackets are layered atop tunics of a similar tone, whilst an orange/navy wool plaid blazer is paired up with a similar ombre-style dress. The men’s collection features lined parkas, quilted vests, heavyweight military jackets and wool bottoms. Patterns, prints and fabrics are as diverse as ever, bringing each garment into a light of their own.
