BYBORRE Collaborates With PORTER To Celebrate The 85th Anniversary of Yoshida & Co.
For the first time, Amsterdam-based knit and textile experts, BYBORRE, are joining forces with PORTER to create a commemorative capsule for the brands’ parent company, Yoshida & Co., 85th anniversary.
Bringing together the individual talents each brand is recognised for, the relationship sees two partners at very different stages of their lifeline - one, BYBORRE, is still in its relative infancy and PORTER is one of the most established luggage brands in this corner of the industry. In total, 6 pieces of luggage comprise the celebratory capsule, most notably iconic PORTER styles such as the following: Alice Pack, 2Way Helmet Bag, 2Way Shoulder Bag, Waist Bag, Vertical Shoulder Bag and Effects Bag. Individual bags are constructed using a bonded nylon synonymous with PORTER and BYBORRE has developed an exclusive knit which is made using a 100% recycled polyester yarn called ‘AO3’ - Attachment Only 3Layer. With each piece designed to function differently and store a varying amount of volume, they can be used in conjunction with one another or as a standalone accessory.
The collaborative pieces from BYBORRE are set to release Friday, 15th of January, alongside other goods with the likes of Buzz Rickson’s and Takashi Murakami.
