Dominic Sondag’s label, s.k. manor hill, kicks off 2021 by delivering a consciously-led Autumn/Winter ‘21 collection that looks to the uniform of the modern life and the outdoors.

Bringing forth an all-encompassing collection, s.k. manor hill’s offering reaches far and wide, including fleece bottoms laden with traditional Peruvian prints, heavy wool plaid shirts, reversible bomber jackets and more. As per usual, their use of fabrics and materials is very diverse with tropical wool, indigo cone denim and natural cotton adorning various pieces, adding a third dimension to the clothing beyond looks. With all bases covered, bottoms, accessories, hats, outerwear, tops, all form part of the ensemble. Of particular interest are the jewellery and luggage accessories that incorporate pieces of climbing equipment into their design; as a result, we are presented with necklaces, cross-body bags featuring chalk pouches and wallet chains. Atypical of Sondag’s work, each piece is carefully considered and has conscious thinking behind it, hence the primary use of 100% natural or recycled fibres. With a few minor exceptions, notably knitwear items crafted in Peru, each garment is constructed in New York’s ‘Garment District’, an area that has been instrumental in the personal growth of Dominic and his brand.
