A Closer Look at the HAVEN x Vans Vault OG Lampin VLT LX
Once again, HAVEN flexes their collaborative prowess but, this time, alongside a longstanding partner of theirs: Vans Vault.
With a shared desire to create timeless and long-lasting designs, particularly shown by HAVEN’s in-house label, the pair has developed and tweaked the often understated OG Lampin VLT LX. The upper has been crafted from a textured hairy suede with some minor accents of nubuck located on the heel strip and medial (inside) of the shoe. To aid in the functionality front, the suede upper has been lightly treated with a water-resistant coating to enhance waterproofing and prevent damage to the material. Using Vans Vault’s premium technology, the OG Lampin VLT LX features ULTRACUSH™ HD insoles for added comfort. Finally, finishing details that elevate the shoe include a dual-branded tongue and insole, vulcanised rubber outsole, leather lining and padded collar. Fairly muted in terms of colour, they have designed an all-black and off-white version.
