Supreme x JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS MAN Autumn '21 Collection
Supreme’s collaborative prowess knows no bounds, especially in regards to their recent linkup with JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS MAN.
Supreme has a lengthy history with COMMES des GARÇONS but this is the first time that Junya Watanabe is concerned and it presents a whole new dimension to the table. Known for his experimental use of uncommon synthetics and industrial methods, especially in regards to clothing, Junya reimagines a number of key Supreme styles through his distinctive tinted lens. For Autumn ‘21, the pair have selected a slew of Supreme silhouettes from times gone by and simultaneously dipped into Junya Watanabe’s back catalogue of designs and referenced them in somehow. As a result, we see pieces like the Schott leather peacoat; GORE-TEX Denim Parka, Cargo Pants, Patchwork Puffer Jacket, S/S graphic tees and sweatpants. Across a number of the pieces is Supreme x JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS MAN branding as well as graphics scrawled across outerwear with references to collegiate style and quotes.
The collection is set to release online and in-store on November 4th.
