Body of Work, The Canadian Label Reinventing Premium Sportswear
With their sights set on reinventing the wheel of sportswear, Body of Work channels decades of combined industry expertise into their first product offering.
The pair behind Body of Work launched the brand after a decade spent working in the Canadian apparel industry for brands like HAVEN, Reigning Champ and OVO. With such a wealth of knowledge at their disposal, they hope to bring together simplicity, functional design and sustainable business practices through each product under their belt. Alongside this, they hope to reinvent the idea of how we go about our ‘active lifestyles’ through premium comfort.
The first release from Body of Work consists of three staples - the Studio Sweatshirt, Boxy T Shirt and Studio Sweatpants - that proudly represent Canadian manufacturing across the board from the design, knitting, dyeing and cut-and-sew process. The Studio Sweatpants, for example, are a sophisticated take on a loungewear classic and have been thoughtfully designed for casual movement - providing a relaxed fit with a soft feel for added comfort. Down to the last detail, everything has been conducted in Canada.
Body of Work’s latest project titled ‘Return To Nature’ welcomes their inaugural product offering in a way they mean to go on: by returning to the peace of nature, specifically the serene beaches of the Pacific in North West Vancouver.
