Mita Sneakers and UNITED ARROWS & SONS Develops a Specific Trouser for the New Balance ‘TDS 574’.
Mita Sneakers and UNITED ARROWS & SONS have developed a pair of bottoms to coincide with the most recent release of New Balance Tokyo Design Studio’s ‘TDS 574’.
To accompany the ‘TDS 574’, Mita Sneakers and UNITED ARROWS & SONS have both come together to develop the ‘Fatigue Pant’ which offers a silhouette that effortlessly complements the shoe: a loose and fairly straight cut follows through the leg with a simple middle crease. The pants have been made using Cordura Combat Wool which is said to be 10 times stronger than typical wool without compromising on either touch or appearance. Details include a D-ring on the right-hand pocket to attach keys and an internal drawcord for adjustment around the waist.
Holding the position as one of New Balance’s most iconic silhouettes, their Japanese faction, Tokyo Design Studio, has got their hands on it once again to reinterpret it. Previously, the 574 has long been recognised as a lifestyle-athletic hybrid but Tokyo Design Studio has subverted that, stripping the silhouette right back and giving it a more formal tone. Cast in a deep shade of black, it features three types of leather - suede, nubuck and smooth leather - and mesh on the upper of the shoe which offers a range of textures throughout. The inclusion of a Vibram sole couples modern technology with timeless design providing a comfortable fit for the wearer.
Both the Fatigue Pants and TDS 574 will be available from UNITED ARROWS & SONS and Mita Sneakers online stores, as well as New Balance T-HOUSE on the 4th of December.
