visvim FW21-22 Spot Lookbook
visvim has released a surprise spot lookbook to showcase its Fall/Winter 21-22 collection.
Hiroki Nakamura’s visvim namesake is dedicated to Japanese craftsmanship and a clear faucet of inspiration they repeatedly delve into, further highlighted in their Fall/Winter ‘21-22 Holiday Lookbook. Following familiar design cues from visvim, pieces are reminiscent of military garb, American traditional wear and sportswear in their approach. As a result, we see a plethora of pieces like the reversible Liner Down Vest, hand-knitted Cardigan, vintage-inspired Jumbo Hoodie and Roland Jogger trainer. Outerwear derives clear inspiration from military silhouettes welcoming the Harrier Down Jacket, Liner Down Vest and Four Winds Coat with twists like Indian khadi patchwork and damaged finishing, to name but a few. Crafted with precision, we see footwear styles like the Virgil Boots, Roland Jogger and Kiefer Mid join the ensemble. For tops, wide-cut tees, overshirts, knitted jumpers make for essential layering. Bottoms come in a variety of cuts and styles from the Coronel Pants adopting a straight cut to the tapered Chino Pants. In addition, we see washed denim jeans and the SOCIAL SCULPTURE 01 in a damaged finish.
