côte&ciel Spring/Summer '21
côte&ciel is looking to where the ocean and sky meet, towards our ‘new normal’, for their Spring/Summer ‘21 collection, as they continue to further the parameters of the design status quo.
Since its launch in 2008, côte&ciel has been developing functional, yet fashion-focused luggage that offers an ergonomic shape for the wearer; this has remained at the core of the brand for the last 13 years. Now that the Spring/Summer ‘21 season looms imminently, their careful selection of primary tones (red, yellow and blue), partly inspired by the works of Roy Lichenstein, Andy Warhol and Jasper Johns in the 1960s, evoke optimism in each product. As well as providing a splash of colour, it elevates classic styles like the ISAR, SORMONNE, and ISARAU and gives them a lease of life. With the refinement of existing products comes developing of new styles, this includes the TYCHO and an XL addition to the INN family of bags. The TYCHO, for example, is a deconstructed tote that converts into a backpack and the functional successor to the ORCO tote bag. Another further addition to the seasonal lineup is within the INN range whereby the carry space can be adjusted using carabiners that lighten or increase load space, and the use of new fabrications.
The collection will be available via côte&ciel’s online store and select stockists starting today.
