WHIZ LIMITED and fragment design Celebrate WHIZ TOKYO's 18th Anniversary With a New Capsule
WHIZ LIMITED’s Tokyo flagship celebrated its 18th anniversary this weekend while the brand itself is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary. To commemorate this, Hiroaki Shitano’s brand has teamed up with Hiroshi Fujiwara for a “school” themed capsule.
WHIZ LIMITED has been a mainstay in Tokyo’s streetwear scene since its inception in 2000 and the new capsule collection will certainly surprise and please a lot of old time fans as its reminiscent of some of the styles that was very popular back then. The drop itself consist of a duffle coat featuring a co-branded inner left sleeve and custom toggle buttons by M&M as well as a set of matching scarves. The capsule is highlighted by a photo which is an homage to an image from a vintage magazine and showcases the capsule from behind worn by close friends of Hiroaki who used to hang together in Harajuku during the 90’s and early 00’s.
Limited to 76 pieces each, the collaborative capsule is now available via WHIZ LIMITED’s locations across Japan.
