Graphpaper and DAIWA PIER39 Join Forces on Collaborative Capsule
The two burgeoning Japanese labels, DAIWA PIER39 and Graphpaper, have joined forces to produce a capsule collection for Spring/Summer ‘21 consisting of two items indicative of both brands.
DAIWA PIER39 has selected two iconic Graphpaper models that are representative of the brand’s beginnings - the Chef Pants and Box Shirts - and given them a technical fabrication upgrade. With their roots in performance fishing apparel, DAIWA PIER39 offer a function-based rendition of these two styles and incorporate GORE-TEX INFINIUM ™ technology which provides exceptional waterproofness, breathability and packability. With both garments made from the same material, they possess the same technical characteristics. The Box Shirt, for example, is a hybrid between a shirt and light outerwear option with large chest pockets, a square hem side-entry pockets. The second piece in the capsule is the Chef Pant, a roomy, elasticated trouser inspired by the bottoms of French cooks - also, like the Box Shirt, made from the same GORE-TEX INFINIUM material. There are some accessories to accompany the collection including a jungle hat, cap and masks.
The capsule will release Saturday, 6th of February via select Graphpaper locations: Aoyama, Hibiya, Sendai and Kyoto.
