BEAMS Revisits Columbia Performance Fishing Gear Archive

BEAMS Revisits Columbia Performance Fishing Gear Archive

BEAMS latest team up with Columbia is a bespoke capsule collection of their Performance Fishing Gear items in which they visited their archive of jackets, shorts, tees, and caps and updated them for contemporary wear.

The highlight of the collection is their fishing jacket, which takes cues from 1990s Columbia jacket models, specifically the "Logriver Jacket" and "Mckenzie Parka". The field-ready outerwear is crafted with a thin lightweight nylon that is bolstered with DWR treatment, providing excellent protection against wet elements. Functionality is integrated with the pocket design of the "Mckenzie Parka”, providing multiple sets of storage volume throughout. Columbia’s logo is on display on the sleeve while the co-branded The accessory cap also features a DWR finish and a drawcord at the rear to adjust the size. Even a storage pocket with a button closure is placed on the headwear. Meanwhile the tee is the perfect outdoor staple as it’s made with a sweat-absorbing and quick-dry material.
