prasthana, the independent Japan menswear label established in 2015 by founder and designer Daisuke Takei, has revealed their Autumn/Winter ‘21 collection lookbook packed with spacious silhouette, functional a and unique materials, lace design, and the monotone colors.
Following their brand philosophy of urban design that is not bound by preconceived ideas, prasthana’s latest collection is highlighted by heavy duty outerwear balancing form and functional. A selection of robe-like layers are introduced with unique adaptations including a belted detail and minimal wool iteration. Glossy leather materials are utilized for modular hoodies, zip-up vests, and 4 button trousers aided by waist laces. Their trousers are voluminous in shape, often wide-legged and cropped for a draped visual aesthetic, while everyday essentials of turtlenecks, button-up shirts, and pullover sweaters are essential pieces for everyday wear.
