SEVENSTORE Captures Homme Plissé Issey Miyake Spring/Summer '21
In their latest editorial series, SEVENSTORE has captured Homme Plissé Issey Miyake’s Spring/Summer ‘21 pieces in a new environment, showing off each garment in its full pleated glory.
Acting as one arm of the Issey Miyake umbrella, Homme Plissé is designed for those of all ages and origins, providing a sense of practicality and luxury through their pleated goods. Captured through the editorial, SEVENSTORE’s offering includes their iconic pleated trousers in a choice of cuts, vests, blazers and shirts among other staple pleated pieces.
Culturally and geographically, Japan and Scotland are worlds apart but they do share one thing in common - the vast majority of their country’s footprint is occupied by forest, which acts as the backdrop for SEVENSTORE’s Homme Plissé Issey Miyake editorial. Katie James, a Scottish Dancer, movement director and yoga teacher, helped to shape the outcome of the shoot through her illustrated expression of dance which effortlessly captures the flow of the pleated garments.
