Norse Projects Taps LA-Based Artist Geoff McFetridge for Their Latest Release
Back in 2015, Norse Project creative director Mikkel Grønnebæk interviewed LA-based multidisciplinary artist Geoff McFetridge about his work history, various collaborations, and his elegant, reductive design style. Combing back around to today, Norse Projects has worked closely with Geoff on their latest project for several months - bringing together his practice of poetry, painting, illustration, photography and also cycling.
The result of this collaborative effort is a minimal line of everyday staples, built for the long run with construction and functionality in mind, which fully aligns with Geoff’s design philosophy. Leading the collection is multiple selections of graphic tees, beanies, and tote bags displaying Geoff’s abstract interpretations that employ negative space and clean lines. Workwear-inspired pieces such as multi-pocket chore jackets comes in a washed finish while the trousers are a reflection of Geoff’s daily routine as an artist, constructed to handle everyday wear through its comfortable, relaxed-fitting silhouette.
The full line-up of staples can be found in the lookbook below, and stay tuned for the release at Norse Project’s online shop.
