HUMAN MADE Integrates a Blue Bottle Cafe to its 1928 Kyoto Flagship Store
Having recently done a collaborative collection with Blue Bottle Coffee for the opening of their Shibuya location in April which included a new staff uniform and a custom coffee blend, Nigo has now integrated a Blue Bottle Cafe in his own HUMAN MADE 1928 Kyoto Flagship location.
The “HUMAN MADE 1928 Cafe by Blue Bottle Coffee” will offer high quality speciality coffee and espresso drinks like the other cafe’s as well as a special “Blue Bottle Coffee x Human Made Future Blend” which will be exclusive to this particular location.
Several other collaborative items has also been created for the new space which includes a broad range of co-branded items such as a cap, a tee and a barista apron alongside ceramic mugs, pour over sets, tumblers and more. Lastly the two entities has asked the Japanese sweet shop Kagizen Yoshifusa in Gion, Kyoto, which has been doing business since the mid Edo period, to create a bespoke set of heart shaped dried sweets (Wasanbon) to go with the coffee.
