Experts in utility, DAIWA PIER39 have given us a glimpse of their upcoming Autumn/Winter ‘21 collection that balances their function-driven look with aesthetics.

With the theme of ‘American Classic Uniforms’ ringing in its ears, the collection is splintered into four familiar categories: American traditional, outdoor, sports and military. With American style frequently referenced and referred to, DAIWA PIER39 combines these iconic clothing silhouettes with an approach to design that prioritises functionality in a new-found form. For Autumn/Winter ‘21, the DAIWA diffusion line combines heritage materials like corduroy, Harris Tweed and flannel with technical details aplenty, such as a multitude of pockets and down insulation. Military-inspired silhouettes come in the form of technical BDU jackets, while outdoors icons like the Mountain Parka from the 1970s have been brought up to modern spec by the label.

Delivery is expected to be rolling out into retailers from the 31st of July onwards.

Take a closer look at the collection below.
