Eclectic label NEON SIGN, led by head designer Asuka Hayashi, continues to channel his fascination with Harajuku style through the Autumn/Winter ‘21 collection.
Filled with bold patterns and appropriately thick layers for the colder season, NEON SIGN’s latest collection especially emphasizes unique geometric shapes on traditional silhouettes that are reimagined through a wider, relaxed fitting lens. Varsity jackets utilize earth tones in the collar details while contrasting the sleeves with a houndstooth pattern typically seen on workwear items. The pattern continues down through the pleated trousers. NEON SIGN’s eye-catching details are evident in the women’s oversized cardigan featuring a pleasant faded purple base with fur accents at the sleeve cuff.
