EXCLUSIVE | ISO.POETISM™ by Tobias Birk Nielsen Spring/Summer '22 'HABITUAL HAVOC (10)'
Officially founded in 2016, Spring/Summer ‘22 marks the tenth collection for Copenhagen-based brand, Tobias Birk Nielsen, and its ISO.POETISM™ imprint. Delivered in two visual manners - stills and video -, the collection explores ‘the state of constant havoc, the emotional causes within and the process of leaving it all behind’.
Titled ‘HABITUAL HAVOC (10)’, their Spring/Summer ‘22 range serves up a number of utilitarian styles with continued hand-made dyeing techniques and tactile yet functional details. As has been the case for prior collections, outerwear comes in the form of hand-dyed half-zip anoraks, tactical vests, parachute-style ponchos and overcoats. The aforementioned come decorated with multi-pocket get-ups, adjustable hoods and carabiner-equipped belts. Bottoms come in a variety of cuts, styles and fabrications including lightweight cargo trousers, knee-length shorts and three-quarter length paneled trousers. Moreover, bringing a voluminous dimension to the range are the accessories, mainly luggage, which can be used stand-alone or in a modular situation with another bag, whilst clipped onto a harness.
Following the successful release of their PALAVY sneakers, ISO.POETISM™ by Tobias Birk Nielsen introduces two new silhouettes for the impending season: a technical low-top sneaker ‘TESEI’ and a tactical sandal by the name of ‘ISHIN’. Just like we have seen previously, the Copenhagen-based label will continue its fruitful partnership with Vibram, which supplies the tactile soles for their footwear.
