Goldwin Utilises PERTEX®︎ SHIELD AIR Technology for Autumn/Winter '21
Known for consistently pushing the envelope in terms of innovation, Goldwin has incorporated PERTEX SHIELD AIR technology across a handful of styles within their Autumn/Winter ‘21 range.
When it comes to technical fabrications, there are few that come close to the capabilities of PERTEX SHIELD AIR®︎. Composing of a nanofiber membrane, lightweight face fabric and backing, it boasts unrivaled waterproofing, breathability and durability, making it an excellent solution for technical outerwear alike. Goldwin has injected the aforementioned into three silhouettes for Autumn/Winter ‘2, including the Fast Shell Light Jacket, Fast Shell Pocketable Pants and PERTEX®︎ SHIELD AIR Jacket. Designed for specific weather conditions, each garment uses the fabric in its own way. For example, the Fast Shell Light Jacket, is intended for active use in extreme heat and high humidity, like trail running or trekking, hence the breathable and lightweight nature. Acting as a slightly heavier counterpart, the PERTEX®︎ SHIELD AIR Jacket boasts a 15 denier thickness and offers superb moisture permeability and breathability - designed to withstand challenging weather patterns. The left pocket on the chest has an inside-and-out mesh pocket that can be pulled if so and the opposing side features an internal security pocket. Finishing off the ensemble is the Fast Shell Pocketable Pants which use a 3 layer PERTEX®︎ SHIELD AIR composition and, as the name suggests, can be packed away into the rear pocket when not in use.
