BYBORRE Collaborates With a Number of Partners for Edition9™
Working with a whole host of collaborators for Edition9™, BYBORRE and its cohort continue to push the letter in terms of knitwear and textile innovation.
Developed during a time when the team was forced to adapt to new working environments, it allowed them to spend more time in the forests and parks dotted around Amsterdam; gifting them an endless source of inspiration that just happens to be the outdoors and nature. With a renewed sense of appreciation for the outdoors, BYBORRE channeled this into how the garments were designed by exploring how knitwear could perform in this environment and its functionality could match that. BYBORRE staples such as the Weightmap Sweater, Overshirt and Tapered Cropped Trousers have been recalibrated in seasonally-geared knits, like OTM™ and AO2™, to combat the colder climates, as well as enhance their performance. Like we mentioned previously, BYBORRE has chosen a number of partners to work alongside for Edition9™ including GORE-TEX, Parley For The Oceans and tattooist, Henk Schiffmacher, all of which bring their own skills to the table. By working alongside Parley, BYBORRE continues its efforts to be mindful throughout the design process without sacrificing style, comfort or functionality
