côte&ciel and Hermansen Develop a Custom Electric Bike for Inner City Travel

In a somewhat fitting partnership, côte&ciel has collaborated with the e-bike brand, Hermansen, on a bike designed specifically for inner-city living and travel.

‘Bike One’ blends the brands’ shared passion for concepts of mobility and travelling in style which makes this mode of transport ideal for urban environments. The striking orange colour on the frame is inspired by côte&ciels all-new VELO that is fresh for Spring/Summer ‘22, giving it a vibrant pop of colour to stand out against the monotony of concrete-heavy cities. Contrasting tones of cool grey and aluminium add to the overall fixture. The ‘Bike One’ features two côte&ciel styles of bag that can be attached to the frame, including a black ISARAU VELO crossbody and a brick red SARU backpack - they can easily be used off the bike, too, when not cycling. At a mere 15kg, it is fairly lightweight and convenient for carrying up stairs and onto trains, for example.

Available now from Hermansen’s online store for a sum of €4000.
