FEATURE | Satisfy x norda 001 'Silver' by eye_C

With a shared ethos for innovating beyond our preconceived notions, norda and Satisfy are becoming two household names that are leading the front for performance-inspired running apparel and footwear. Maintaining the collaborative narrative that began in July, the pair once again uses the ’001’ silhouette as a blank canvas to methodically demonstrate their prowess.

We captured the Satisfy x norda 001 in an editorial alongside some of Satisfy’s function-first garments, including the JUSTICE™ CORDURA® HYDRATION VEST 5L, AURALITE™ T-SHIRT and 3" TRAIL SHORTS STEEL, all of which do wonders to demonstrate Satisfy’s seamless blend of form and utmost function - a balance that has proved hard to strike, until now. Each garment has been designed to allow the wearer to cover the ground for longer, freely, without compromising on their individual style.

Equipped with some of the industry’s most technically-advanced materials, the 001 is extremely capable in its destined environment: on the trails. Saying this, the lightweight and durable construction of the upper is in part thanks to the use of bio-based Dyneema® which is widely recognised as being the world’s strongest and lightest fibre making it ideal for a trail-running shoe. To complement the all-silver upper and to guarantee the wearer is seen on lowly-lit trails, norda have incorporated 3M reflective overlays across the upper that increase visibility.

Through the use of Vibram footwear technology, the 001 provides the right amount of cushioning and responsiveness, thanks to their proprietary Megagrip sole and Lightbase technology that keep the wearer's foot solely planted on the ground, supplying ample traction and comfort in the process.
