Colmar Taps White Mountaineering Designer Yosuke Aizawa To Launch Revolution Series
Since cementing its partnership through the A.G.E and White Mountaineering collection, Colmar has enlisted the technical guise of Yosuke Aizawa to assist in launching its ‘Revolution’ series. No stranger to collaboration, Aizawa has worked with industry giants such as adidas, Uniqlo, Burton and Barbour in the past.
The first glimpse of Colmar’s ‘Revolution’ Autumn/Winter ‘23 collection was unveiled at Milan Fashion Week during an exhibition housed inside the Torre Branca (Branca Tower) based on the concept of natural habitats where the garments could seamlessly exist. The collection is described by Colmar CEO, Giulio Colombo, as “an innovative collection, where our company’s 100-year experience blends with Aizawa’s contemporary, technical vision”, which has directly produced a series of garments that will be positioned at the highest point of Colmar’s product range. As you would expect, outerwear is the main focus of ‘Revolution’, resulting in seven silhouettes of varying volumes and functions with belted detailing and expandable hood systems, to go lightly on the features.
The collection will launch in Autumn/Winter ‘23 - stay tuned for updates closer to the time.
