Blanc YM Spring/Summer '24
Blanc YM has unveiled its Spring/Summer ‘24 collection.
Feeling the passage of time, the inspiration for Blanc YM’s forthcoming collection comes from looking back on previous collections and revisiting certain silhouettes and ideas. For example, the half-zip pullover that debuted in Autumn/Winter ‘23 has been rearranged by changing the fabric from fleece to a vintage-like sweatshirt fabric, while the Skipper Knit comes with half-length sleeves to match the season. Adding to that, select outerwear styles, like the Leather Jacket, Leather Cow Shirt and Half-Cut Trench, are made from leather that consumes twice as much oil for a glossier finish that will age and slowly conform to the wearer’s body.
In homage to the overarching theme of passing time, Blanc YM shoots the collection on a set that features an old television set and radiator which are complimented by the soft and calming colours of the garments, as well as the fabrics used that give a pre-worn and already-aged look and feel.
