18 East and NANGA Mark Their Collaborative Debut with the ‘Lookout Jacket’ and ‘Feather Moc’

Collaborating for the first time, the New York-based retailer, 18 East, and NANGA have developed two products to tackle the cold: the Lookout Jacket and Feather Moc.

Inspired by the uniform worn by the Rangers who look after the fire lookouts scattered across the Pacific Northwest’s Cascada Mountains, both items reflect their intended purpose. The Jacket and Moc are crafted using Japanese Takibi, a flame-resistant material made with a blend of Aramid fibres, and are insulated using a Spanish duck down supplied by NANGA. Infused with plenty of technical features, the Lookout Jacket includes a full-cut silhouette with raglan sleeves, heat-sealed two-way zipper front, flap pockets with top and side entry, elasticised cuffs and two internal pockets. Both the Jacket and Moc are finished with a forest green colourway.
