Merrell 1TRL Unveils Latest Campaign Dubbed 'The Trail that Came Before'
Merrell 1TRL has released its latest campaign for Spring/Summer ‘23 titled ‘The Trail that Came Before’, featuring the pigeon keepers of New York City and celebrating the subculture which brings the outdoors to those living in cities.
Despite dating back thousands of years, pigeon keeping is an ever-growing subculture, especially in cities, which is allowing people to reconnect with the wilderness and provide respite. In line with appreciating heritage, Merrell 1TRL has introduced two new silhouettes to the 1TRL line - the Moab Mesa and Eagle Luxe - which are both born from Merrell’s back catalogue.
Spring/Summer ‘23 marks the first appearance of the Moab Mesa Luxe 1TRL, a reimagined version of the Moab silhouette which has been updated with premium waterproof suede, nubuck leather and a mesh upper. For an added technical edge, the Moab Mesa utilises Vibram® TC5+ outsole technology that delivers all-round grip, traction and durability on uneven surfaces and tough terrain. As opposed to the aforementioned, we see a return for the Eagle Luxe from A/W 22 which continues on the same trajectory of breathing life into an archival style. It comes fitted with waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX technology as well as a more premium suede and mesh upper. Available in a plethora of Spring/Summer ready colours including Herb, Incense and Avocado/Maroon.
