A Closer Look at the 'Euro Hiker' by Timberland and nonnative
Reconnecting with one another since 2017, nonnative and Timberland pick up where they left off with a rendition of the ‘Euro Hiker’, a hiking silhouette that dates back to 1988.
nonnative is no stranger to leaving their mark where footwear collaborations are concerned, having previously worked with Mizuno and Asics, to name a few. For Spring/Summer ‘23, however, they have upped the ante with Timberland to bring its Euro Hiker into the modern age by coupling its authentic design with some necessary technical upgrades. Fitted with a lightweight sole, it can be worn either in a lifestyle context like a trainer or used on the trails for prolonged periods without fatigue. Cast in an all-over taupe hue, the upper has been constructed using long-pile suede and CORDURA® nylon which provides a balance in texture while retaining a sense of practicality. For added contrast, the stitching throughout is black and white, and there are silver metal eyelets.
