White Mountaineering x GRIP SWANY Spring/Summer '23
Teased during its Spring/Summer ‘23 lookbook, White Mountaineering has collaborated with GRIP SWANY on a two-piece capsule consisting of a Utility Vest and Gear Shorts.
The epitome of transitional design, the Vest can be zipped into itself to form a bag at a moment’s notice, yet still boasts the same storage functions for those on the go. In its standard form, there are four pockets on the front of the vest and W.M.B.C branding. Following similar principles, the Gear Shorts feature a monopoly of storage options throughout for storing all manner of belongings: keys, wallet, mobile phone etc. For a secure fit, they include an integrated nylon belt. Both pieces are made using a blend of SOLOTEX and linen which promises to deliver linen’s natural hand feel while boasting some of SOLOTEX’s technical properties, including its stretchiness. They come in a choice of Black or Sand.
