RANRA and Salomon Revisit the "Cross Pro" Silhouette for Spring/Summer '23
Off the back of their successful collaboration in Autumn/Winter ‘22, RANRA and Salomon revisit the “Cross Pro” silhouette.
For their second partnership, RANRA and Salomon continue to evolve their “Cross Pro” model within a high-performance and conscious context, blending sustainable practices and functionality. Special attention has been devoted to each material’s supply chain as well as developing new natural dye processes and methods of fabrication that reduce the need for glues and synthetics. As a result, the upper is made from cotton ripstop, while a recycled rubber outsole and natural EVA foam provide athletic comfort. By opting for natural dyes as opposed to synthetic ones, the finish on the “Cross Pro” is very unique, achieving two vibrant colourways: Cathay Spice/Kelp/Bright Lime Green and Turmeric/Blazing Orange/Scarlet Ibis. The “Cross Pro” has been modelled through a series of dining table installations, including inside jelly and in a bread roll.
