SOUTH2 WEST8 Autumn/Winter '24
Channelling its founder Kaname Nagaoka’s love for fishing and outdoor activities, SOUTH2 WEST8 has unveiled its Autumn/Winter ‘24 collection.
One of the labels under the fledgling Nepenthes network, SOUTH2 WEST8 has an identity of its own, one that is largely defined by fly-fishing and other outdoor pursuits like hunting. For those who have been following SOUTH2 WEST8 for some time, each season feels like a successive building block as the brand uses similar silhouettes while exploring the use of new fabrics, colours on patterns. The patterns are dominated by their ‘Antler and Bullseye’ motif as well as hits of real tree camo, plaid fabrics and geometric Aztec-inspired shapes.
In addition to the usual hallmark styles like the 8-Pocket Shirt or Tenkara Fishing range which have been revisited using plaid and corduroy fabrics, SOUTH2 WEST8 has introduced some new silhouettes that appear to be more functional than before. From insulated down jackets and mountain parkas to sweatshirts with multiple zippers and durable chore coats, this collection continues to provide a twist on fishing, outdoor and technical clothing.
