nonnative Spring/Summer '24
nonnative’s Spring/Summer ‘24 collection is another carefully curated display of its study of military and workwear garments.
Adopting the theme ‘Walk that Walk’, which loosely means acting in line with how you present yourself, nonnative’s Spring/Summer range is a testament to the brand’s core identity of designing apparel, footwear and accessories without making a fuss.
nonnative looks back through its extensive archive, using this as the foundation for its Spring/Summer ‘24 collection with a focus on craftsmanship, updated fabrics and details to suit the season in question. For outerwear, nonnative has created several timeless silhouettes which take the form of longer coats, shorter jackets and protective shell jackets that are crafted using GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER for the unpredictable weather, as well as 10oz denim and tropical cloth. Knitwear, tops and shirting are tailored towards typical Spring/Summer conditions, maximising lightweight and airy fabrics for comfort. Several styles of legwear appear in the form of chinos, shorts, cargo trousers and jeans.
In regard to accessories, nonnative resumes its partnership with END. on silver jewellery in addition to a short line of bags and pouches made using a durable CORDURA eco fabric. Lastly, they round off the collection with the Dweller Trainer and a new hiking-inspired shoe made in collaboration with Diemme.
nonnative have adopted a seasonal colour palette that is dominated by brown, green, khaki and ivory, complimenting the relaxed silhouettes to provide calming overtones throughout. Arguably second in importance to colour is fabric, incorporating many crisp and dry materials like linen and tropical wool to create a light and cool feel, as well as polyester and nylon.
