DESCENTE Introduces Two New Styles to its Mizusawa Down Series

As we near the end of the year and we’re thrust into the depths of Winter, DESCENTE prepares us for this transition by adding two new outerwear styles to its Mizusawa down line, the Aspire and Carry jackets.

Firstly, the ‘Aspire’ Down Jacket features a rounded silhouette inspired by a cocoon to protect the wearer from Winter’s harsh conditions, aided by details like a draft tube, powder skirt, Parahood system and more. The exterior is constructed using DERMIZAX® FLEXILE MATTE 4-WAY STRETCH, a waterproof and breathable material, and the lining is warmth-retaining HEAT NAVI®, which converts light into heat. Rounding off the additions is the ‘Carry’ Down Jacket, a highly functional yet minimalist garment that is made using a lightweight 4-way Stretch Micro Ripstop material and retains heat via HEAT NAVI®. On the inside, you can find a large capacity pocket, which allows the ‘Carry’ jacket to be easily packed away. A key feature that unites the two new styles is the Downpass Traceability System, ensuring that the down insulation has been sourced ethically.
