CAYL and New Balance Take on the 1906R
CAYL continues its seasonal partnership with long-time collaborator New Balance, which sees the pair breathe new life into classic silhouettes. For Autumn/Winter ‘24, the pair have selected the 1906R as their model of choice.
Titled ‘Borderless Contrast,’ this capsule combines outdoor-inspired technical design with a classic New Balance silhouette. They have prepared two colourways inspired by natural elements: Floating Blue and Golden Fire Yellow. The upper is made using a translucent ripstop, which features a white grid patterning throughout, with black contrast coming from the NB logo on the sidewall, heel cup, laces and N-ergy sole unit. Some finishing touches include toggled laces, collaborative branding on the footbed and tonal overlays.
