Purple Mountain Observatory Autumn/Winter '24
Advancing into its third year of business, Purple Mountain Observatory charters its ongoing development into Autumn/Winter ‘24.
Building on its previous collections, Purple Mountain Observatory’s latest output is designed to cope with the changing landscapes we encounter, from the streets to the trails. Dubbed ‘Excavation’, this season takes inspiration from Copper and Slate quarries across the United Kingdom, reinforced throughout the colour palette and the setting for the lookbook. Natural, earthy tones are contrasted with vibrant volt colours, a nod to the worker’s high-vis uniforms.
Autumn/Winter ‘24 sees the brand introduce three new silhouettes - Shield Puffer, Ridge Jacket, Solo Fleck Fleece and Deluge Pants - alongside a newly developed fabric, Barnacle Mesh. This waterproof laminated bonded mesh with a tight ripstop weave provides strong water and wind resistance.
