Oakley Presents its Futuristic 'Born to Rewild' Collection

Following the release of the Oakley Factory Team capsule last week, Oakley doesn’t show any signs of letting up as it ushers in its ‘Born to Rewild’ collection, comprising the Plantaris sunglasses and Latitude Flex Vest.

Throughout its lifetime, Oakley has consistently sat at the intersection of lifestyle and sport, with evolution coursing through the lifeblood of everything it does. The Plantaris eyewear and Latitude Flex Vest seek to accompany the wearer as they go about their adventures regardless of where they take them, helping them to escape the mundanity of everyday life and providing the tools to do so.

Epitomising form meets function, the Latitude Flex Vest signals a new era in Oakley’s apparel history, introducing the highly technical ‘Latitude’ outerwear line. Replete with utilitarian features, the vest has a multi-pocket arrangement, anti-abrasion stitching and panels, and unique side webbing for increased adjustability. Forming the other half of the mini capsule are the Plantaris lenses, an ever-evolving homage to 00s Oakley designs, which have been adapted for use in the modern day. Featuring Prizm Tungsten lenses, these uniquely shaped frames and silicone wire core temple tips mimic frog legs, allowing the frame to hold onto the head with a long-lasting grip with an almost weightless feel
