HYKE and BIOTOP Pay Homage to the M-65 Field Coat

HYKE and BIOTOP Pay Homage to the M-65 Field Coat

HYKE and BIOTOP reconvene their seasonal occupation for Spring/Summer ‘25, turning their attention to another token of military-inspired design: the M-65 Field Coat.

Combining the ruggedness of military uniforms with a level of sophistication synonymous with HYKE, this special order for BIOTOP maintains many of the Field Coat’s original elements while elevating it beyond its original context. Updated features include cord adjustability throughout, side-entry via button-closure, patch pockets and a distinctive loose silhouette typical of HYKE. Unlike the fabric used across many of HYKE’s in-line styles, this exclusive version is made from a firm nylon material woven with yarns of different counts at a high density. The fabric’s exterior has also been given a water-repellent treatment for increased protection against the elements. The duo has produced three colours of the M-65 Field Coat: Olive (Kobe store exclusive), Cream and Black.

Release Details:
When? Today, Friday the 28th of February.
Where? BIOTOP’s Shirokanedai, Osaka and Fukuoka locations and its online store.

On Saturday, the 8th of March, an olive variant of the M-65 Field Coat will be released from BIOTOP Kobe.
