NAMACHEKO Spring/Summer '21

NAMACHEKO Spring/Summer '21

Compared to seasons past, NAMACHEKO’s Spring/Summer ‘20 range is far more reserved, with prints placed second to tailored cuts, metallic snaps, and a wide range of knitwear.

Across its standouts, only a few pieces make use of vibrant color. For example, the overcoat -- which is draped against the flesh in the lookbook’s styling -- covers entirely with an all-over animal print that’s lensed through a palette of desaturated yellows and greens; adjacent, select collared shirts make use of similar motifs, though they trade in the aforementioned tones for hits of red and blue. Equally eccentric, the cast of knits indulge in a variety of weaves: vests thread with a subtle contrast pattern, ribbed neck pullovers construct with cosmetic openings, and short-sleeves arrive thick in their very yarn. To finish, NAMACHEKO then proffers several more universal garments, leather and light wash denim truckers included. But what differentiates a few is the use of metallic snaps either at the placket of tops or along the back hem of the trousers.
