Snow Peak Spring/Summer '20

Snow Peak Spring/Summer '20

Following closely behind the unveiling of designer Lisa Yamai’s eponymous label, Snow Peak SS20 exhibits some of the strongest forms the label has put out, mixing workwear with the technical as it traverses and blurs the line right between.

The pieces themselves are built almost solely with purpose, leavening fabrics and cuts to help deal with what will likely be a hot summer ahead of us. As such, the garments take on an aesthetic wavering in its style yet with many a standout drawing inspiration from those who work with their hands, e.g. craftsmen, fieldworkers, and the like. Overalls in characteristically sturdy materials align with similarly constructed aprons whose purpose as more of an accessory helps dress up many of the basic tees and tops. The latter, likely the deepest in breadth, ranges from womenswear to men’s as camp collar shirts, loose linen dresses, and generously cut short sleeve tops fill up the collection. Alongside, heavier pieces -- though not by much in weight -- follow along in comparable palettes with a wealth of different patterns, showing off parkas of mixed geometrics, blazers in seemingly drawn-on striping, and pullovers of woven, drug-rug-esque framing.

Grab a detailed look at the entire lookbook below and expect to see its release later in the new year.
