ATTACHMENT Spring/Summer '20
Simplewear viewed through a filter more formal and technical, Kazayuki Kumagai’s ATTACHMENT has gradually begun to lean more towards the side of moderation. Minimal at its core and fitting for likely any wardrobe, the SS20 pieces impress more so in their form and construction than loud colors or avant-garde cuts.
In summation, the entire collection is timeless down to its minute detail. Mainstays such as blazers take up a large breadth of the entire garment range, differing in their shade and core construction. Either brightened by way of grays or more versatile in a solid black, each gives options with even a lapel-less alternative pushing the staple into a realm heavily casual. Elsewhere, parkas add utility for the rainy days ahead, sporting solid neutrals or the much louder blues complete with double zippers, cinch-able hems, and a stowaway hood. Shirting, though only by a small margin, feature a fit more oversized than any of the aforementioned as they construct a boxy fit in the body with billowing sleeves cut longer than one would see in more mainstream menswear. Pants do well to compliment as they strive for generous room in the thighs with an aggressive taper down to the hem of almost the entire assortment.
