The North Face Purple Label Spring/Summer '20

The North Face Purple Label, the joint project between nanamica and The North Face since 2006, returns to form with an Earth-themed Spring/Summer 2020 collection aptly entitled “ROOTS OF LIFE”

The Japan-exclusive label reimagines heritage pieces from The North Face archives with updated fabrics and materials suitable for everyday city and outdoor life. Bright yellow reversible down cardigans are crafted with new technologies for improved outdoor performance such as Pertex Y-Fuse, improving the downproof and water-beading properties, and Pertex Quantum woven structures that allows the insulation down to fully loft. Meanwhile, the signature 65/35 Mountain Parka with its 4 field pockets returns alongside a longer coat adaptation in a faded olive colorway and a removable hood option. The North Face Purple Label further accentuates the Spring theme with tonal windbreaker jackets and all-white fleece pullovers paired with loose-fitting button up shirts, relaxed fitting trousers, and flared shorts. To celebrate the collection’s title and nature itself, college tees with “ROOTS OF LIFE” text are overlayed with floral graphics.
