Always designing with purpose, meanswhile and their unique brand of utility rejoins us for yet another season of strength, dressing up the warmer Spring/Summer months with details they have made their signature along with some traditionally informed garments improved to better suit its current theme of choice: “While on Journey.”
As is fitting of the title, the range conveys an eclectic sense of function, deviating from the path set to come into their own almost fully. Anoraks, which arrive once more from past seasons to help ring in the new collection, feature its staple ribbon-like webbing whose half-done styling elegantly flourishes upwards in a way similar to the boots seen throughout. Moreover, straps seem to be a striking and frequently occurring motif, with recreated basics the likes of hoodies and blazers coming adorned with them to then cinch the silhouette down at the collar and mid-torso, respectively. And while there are standouts in droves -- inclusive of the sheer parka, Chinese shirting, and belted blouson -- the most inherently aggressive among them construct with built-in modularity, taking on dual personalities as they zip off their bottom piece for either long or short forms. Coupled with the belted attachments and single compartment game vest, the set is certainly adventure ready.
