YOKE Spring/Summer '20

Despite only having 2 years under its belt, Norio Terada’s label YOKE continues to thrive as it showcases its versatility in fabric selection beyond its well-known mastery in knitwear and its unique take on shape for its Summer-focused 2020 collection.

The men’s and women’s collection shares a common theme of lightweight, relaxed fitting pieces with an emphasis on layering for the more breezy conditions. Boxy-fit knitted buttoned shirts, multi-colored pullover knitted vests, and sundresses provide ample amounts of breathability and flexibility. YOKE, never settling for comfortable situations, enters boldly into the reconstructed aesthetic with a slightly transparent striped shirt cut up and patched together in a cross-body manner such that when buttoned up, it gives off a draped yet sophisticated look. Outerwear is comprised of easy-going blazer jackets, collared knee-length coats in monotone khaki and tartain plaid colorways, as well as panelled hooded parkas.
