UNIQLO UT Taps VERDY for Its Latest Graphic Tee Capsule
Helmed by NIGO, the UNIQLO UT line has undergone some wildly ambitious crossover collaborations and graphic tee capsules as of late, with a three-way collection utilizing the skills of even Jun Takahashi, Tetsu Nishiyama, and the Human Made founder himself. Continuing this trend of joining forces with notable designers in Japanese fashion, the imprint is now tapping VERDY of the iconic Girls Don’t Cry label.
Graphic designer by trade, the entire range features strong prints on colorful tees designed exclusively for women’s and girls. Standard crewneck make-ups, with their playful typography motifs, accompany a set of dresses, which frame a feminine mystique within a mostly casual set piece. “RISE AGAIN” and “WHY BOTHER? WHY NOT” find themselves spread out in boldface throughout with psychedelic mosaics and toon characters coincide in the same connecting style.
Grab a peek at the items set to drop and expect them to arrive at select locations and online come May 27th.
