Needles Spring/Summer ´20

While many still obsess over their consistent series of Rebuild flannels, Needles has grown to be so much more as they hold a rivaling spot next to the few starring Nepenthes labels. SS20 is a refinement of their maximalist approach in a framing that is conversely refined.

Smart in many ways and then casual in others, the collection is unapologetic in its refusal to confine, grasping at the staples of many different subcultures as it grows its breadth of expertise. Blazers sets are retro in every way with the slim fits of contemporary fashion thrown far outside the door. Their cuts are left wide with trousers flaring just slightly: a newfound signature that can be seen throughout to different degrees. Lapels vary in their pick from different eras just as notably as they bring back Western tops and a massive array of different shirting. Patterns and palettes are strong in the most expressive sense, painting many of its pieces in arrangements ordinarily striped, vintage affectionate, or quite literally splattered.

Mohair cardigans, their ever-popular tracksuits, and so much more can be found on display here so be sure to grab a full peek at the lookbook below.
